Void of Course Moon
The moon is void of course again right now until this evening. What does this mean?
Each sign of the zodiac is like a chapter in the book of life, and moving through it the Moon is telling a story. When the Moon enters the next sign, it starts a new story. We still remember the old one, but we are not deeply involved into it anymore. Whether we notice it or not, each time the Moon enters the next Sign of the Zodiac, something substantially changes in our life, some context, or the emotional background of events. Most of the time we aren’t aware of this change because the Moon is strongly connected to our subconsciousness, not to our consciousness. It is the subconsciousness who is deeply aware of the change.
So in each of the signs the Moon starts a new story when it enters the sign, but those stories can have different lengths. Some of them continue for almost the whole two-and-a-half-day period, others are much shorter, but always there is a pause in the end of the story. It can be short or long, but it is always there. That pause in the end of the story is the void-of-course period of the Moon.
I started smoking marijuana when I was 21 years old. I rebelled against trying it for so long, only because other people were pushing me to do it. After a little bit of personal research and putting into perspective that majority of my friends that WERE smart, smoked as well, I gave it a try.
I have been a daily smoker ever since. I finally found what had been missing in my life. I started to see the entire world through different eyes. It was incredible.
I do not know if I would have felt the same about it all if I would have succumbed to the peer pressure. Never push people to do something. Just provide them with the facts, eventually they will be curious enough.
Since smoking cannabis, I have been far less sick in general, even just in terms of catching things going around or being around sick people. My body is far better at protecting itself.
I also did a little experiment where I smoked every single day before going to my university classes. My first few years of college, I didn’t smoke, as I said before, I started at 21. I had just moved from home for the first time, and was going to a school with 300+ kids in each class. I couldn’t focus or stay involved at all. I mentally checked out and played countless hours of Kingdom Hearts in my dorm room. Needless to say, my grades were not very reflective of what I could really do if I could relax and not be so nervous and overwhelmed (C/D student).
Fast forward a couple of years and many bowls and blunts later. I’m back in school, and I made it a point to smoke before every single class. I made straight A’s. Every single class, I was so engaged, so intrigued, by everything the professor said. I could vividly imagine everything we were talking about. My memory seemed to stick better. I wrote papers like I was a grad student, and aced tests like all my life consisted of was studying. All I did was tap into my “high” brain.
How would I have ever learned cannabis actually helps me if I wouldn’t have tried?? I tried all the medicine my doctor gave me, what so different about cannabis? What did the people use before modern medicine to treat certain things? They only had so many options, and cannabis is just a plant that has been around thousands of years! ;)
Make your life better. Don’t settle. What has cannabis helped you with?
crackthatblunt asked: Do you live in north or south Fl? Or were ya just visiting?
I’d lived my entire life in SW Florida & Miami, until I moved to Denver last year :).
